I think the &amp;quot;I&amp;#39;ve always worn this number and, to the extent that it&amp;#39;s available, will continue to do so&amp;quot; trumps most any arguments.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Where LeBron&amp;#39;s making this weird is twofold: 1) His self-described global icon goal and the degree to which he relishes his &amp;quot;the next Jordan&amp;quot; status, and 2) His bizarre change of heart/desire to seem profound about it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, no problem with his wearing 23.
