Some Vids Just for Fun

If you didn't catch Sir Charles on SNL last week you missed out on some good stuff. Here was my fav'. SNL's take on the Hank Haney Project to fix Barkley's swing:

And then, with a customarily irreverent take on a delicate subject and in lieu of our recent thread, here's the Onion on abortion:

I love me some Charles Barkley and the TNT crew. And I stayed awake (which is really late on the East Coast) to watch Chuck on SNL.

I didn't think it was that funny. I thought the opening was weak and most of the skits were lame. The MacGruber stuff and the golf skit was pretty funny, but I dunno, I just came away very disappointed overall.

Granted, I don't watch current SNL so it's probably unfair to compare anything current to the classic stuff we all know and love.

Dude, SNL is strong. I strongly suggest watching whatever they do for the opening (usually political) and weekend update. Seth Meyers, while missing Amy P does a pretty darn good job.

Always gotta give a mulligan to the shows where athletes host. Sir Charles was miserable at delivering lines and the writers work extra hard for him to have some scenes he could get away with.
